The Heavenly Gate: Chang’an on the Silk Road exhibition just celebrated its grand opening at the China National Silk Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Featuring over 210 exquisite artifacts, the exhibition showcases the cultural exchanges, fusion and dialogues between Eastern and Western civilizations along the ancient Silk Road. It also highlights the vibrant history of Chang’an, the ancient capital of 13 dynasties, and allows visitors to witness the city’s legacy of openness, inclusiveness and diversity.
