The district is home to Dounan Flower Market, which is recognized as Asia's largest fresh-cut flower trading market. It is pivotal in the flower industry. Nestled on the eastern shores of Dianchi Lake in Kunming, Yunnan province, this market is a crucial hub for flower distribution.
Its strategic location facilitates efficient air and cold chain transportation, connecting it to diverse domestic destinations and extending its reach to over 50 countries and regions. Noteworthy among these international connections are Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
