Check out the beauty of this rare Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) octagonal blue-and-white jar! On its body with motifs of interlocking plants as background, eight reserved panels respectively showcase scenes of lotus ponds, pine trees, bamboo and plum blossoms. The reserved panels on the neck depict various flower branches and plum blossoms. The decorations on the jar exude a profound artistic expression. Collection: Liaoning Provincial Museum.
