In Guangxi's Longsheng county, the Red Yao ethnic group, a branch of the Yao ethnic group, is named for their love of red clothing, symbolizing prosperity and joy. The Red Yao women often wear stunning rose-colored short jackets with no buttons, tied at the waist with red ribbons, shining brightly in the sunlight.
