Qi Baishi (1864-1957), who evolved from a carpenter to a renowned artist, showed a profound mastery of bird-and-flower paintings.
The China Grand Canal Museum in Jiangsu province is showcasing ink and color paintings by Qi revolving around the theme of four seasons.
