Theater director Wang Chaoge met with fans of the Unique Dream of Red Mansion theater complex in Langfang, Hebei province, on Sunday, expressing her desire to offer a variety of experiences to the audience.
The theater complex, which officially opened in late July, draws inspiration from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) novel A Dream of Red Mansions. It features four large and eight small indoor theaters, 108 scenic spaces, and outdoor theaters, which provide different perspectives for readers to continue the narrative of the novel.
