Luo Yi, a contemporary Chinese artist born in Jiangxi province, studied painting in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s. The China National Academy of Painting in Beijing is holding an exhibition, showcasing more than 150 pieces created by Luo, including oil paintings, gouaches, traditional Chinese paintings and sketches. Collectively they portray his artistic accomplishments over the past 70 years. Check them out until Aug 29!
