On Aug 11, the Guizhou Ethnic Museum launched an exhibition featuring Turpan cultural relics dating back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) and the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Pottery, gold-ware, wood-ware, coins and documents on display showcase the cultural exchanges between Turpan in Xinjiang and other Chinese regions through the Silk Road. The exhibition will run through to Oct 15.
