Imari porcelain was made in Japan during the 17th and 18th centuries, fuelled by the impact of China’s Jingdezhen porcelain, and exported to other places from Imari port.

On April 28, the China Port Museum in Zhejiang province launched an exhibit featuring 17th-18th century Imari porcelain from China and Japan. There are 178 pieces of Imari porcelain on display, which evidence cultural exchanges along the ancient Maritime Silk Road. The exhibit will run through July 30.
