Classic Jin Opera performances were staged recently in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, enchanting the audience with their unique charm and high-quality voices.
The opera style originated in Shanxi province. It is one of four Bangzi operas, characterized by the use of wooden clappers and energetic singing. It is popular in Shanxi province, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Hebei province.
