A large number of Buddhist statues were excavated from the Liao Dynasty (916-1125) capital city Shangjing site in 2012, which was one of the major archaeological discoveries that year. The Liao Shangjing Museum in Baarin Left Banner of Chifeng city, Inner Mongolia, is exhibiting some of the statues, including a 3D-printed replica. Check them out!
