12th Beijing International Film Festival to be held from Aug 13

As this year marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the mainland, the Beijing International Film Festival will cooperate deeply with the Hong Kong Film Festival at the opening ceremony.

The film festival is guided by the China Film Administration, hosted by the China Media Group and the Beijing municipal government, and organized by the Beijing Municipal Film Administration, the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, Beijing Radio & Television Station, the Huairou district government and Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited.

As the Chinese film industry has been more integrated into the international market, the festival is an ideal platform for domestic and international films.
