Located in Guazhou county, Northwest China’s Gansu province, the Suoyang City Ruins were, once upon a time, a transportation hub on the ancient Silk Road connecting the Central Plain with the Western Regions. Covering an area of 15,788.6 hectares, this magnificent archaeological site was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014.
