The Choi Centre Cloud House, a nonprofit cultural exchange center run by the Jonathan K.S. Choi Foundation, opened in Beijing on April 25.
Its opening exhibition ReBirth — Encountering with Nature, as part of this year's Festival Croisements, features environmental restoration and the awareness of the nature and environment with installation, photography, painting and video works by 11 artists from home and abroad.
The center aims to promote people-to-people diplomacy between China and Europe and build closer ties between the people via cultural and artistic exchanges, according to Jonathan Choi Koon-shum, chairman of Hong Kong-based conglomerate Sunwah Group.
