Sports art exhibition opens in Beijing Olympic village

Han Ziyong, president of Chinese National Academy of Arts, wrote a preface for the exhibition. He said sports and art have gone hand in hand since ancient times, as Chinese ancient poets such as Li Bai and Du Fu had poems portraying ancient sports in China.
The exhibition will run through March 13 until the closing of the Winter Paralympic Games, and after that, some artworks will be collected by Olympic museums home and abroad.
