Dialogue on Theater Development takes to stage

Dialogue on Theatre Development, a major event of the 2021 Season of China Theatre Festival, was held in Beijing's Dongcheng district on Tuesday. 

Themed on "Imagining the new era, drama is at youth", the dialogue invited dozens of senior professionals, experts and actors in drama field to discuss the innovation and development of theatre.

Four major topics including "Telling the China story with Chinese drama" and "Media integration in drama industry" were discussed during the event, as well as the linkage between drama and city.

Tian Qinxin, head of National Theatre of China, said the theater has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dongcheng district Party committee and Dongcheng district government and they will collaborate to help the development of China's drama industry.

The 2021 Season of China Theatre Festival will kick off in November.
