Wow! Such beautiful lacquerware! The Guardian Art Center in Beijing recently opened an exhibition showcasing more than 100 pieces of lacquerware, dating back to the reign of Qianlong reign (1736-95) during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), from the collection of the Palace Museum. The exhibit highlights the characteristic and aesthetic charms of lacquer techniques.
