Bengbu is located in the middle reaches of the 1,000-kilometer Huaihe River, which divides southern and northern China. It is often dubbed “Pearl City” as it was once a beautiful pearl fishing spot.

The picturesque city’s major tourism destinations include Longzi Lake, Zhanggong Mountain Park, and Anhui Sanchahe National Wetland Park.
