The highway section of the Pingtan Strait Road-rail Bridge in southeast China's Fujian province will open to traffic in May. With a full length of 16.34 kilometers, the maga project will be the world's longest cross-sea road-rail bridge. It connects Pingtan Island and 4 nearby islets to the mainland of Fujian.
